Didn't realize this show was on archive--excellent! I was at this smokin' show the night before thanksgiving that year and it still sticks out as one of my faves. This recording has pretty good quality, and the show rocks--5 stars, for sure. Check out the sick bird bath>soul food opener, the funky billie jean (in lieu of michael jackson's ((then)) recent legal happeneings) and the padgett's jam, which was quite a royal treat.

**P.S. Jake playing Stasik's bass?? D/L now!**

I went to this show, and although it was my first UM show i attended, it was not the first i've heard. Crisp quality, more creativity and chock full of energy. A great version of "Billy Jean", not to mention a top-notch "Soul Food" and the thundering chords of "Smell the Mitten". Good improv. Highly recommended.

Notes

* with Gratitude (Beastie Boys) jam
** with South Park theme tease
^ with Jake on Timbales
